Unfortunately, the parent filter is an overlay of any school filters (aka, it only makes it more strict) and we cannot STOP a parent from blocking something. In our case, logging on to '''Schoology''' requires that '''accounts.youtube.com''' is accessed (we have no control over this) and if a parent blocks '''youtube.com''', a student is unable to logon to our LMS outside of school hours. +We block YouTube access for Middle School students on Chromebooks both in-school and at-home. The only scenario in which they can watch YouTube videos is if a teacher has assigned it via Schoology or one of our other platforms. If you see youtube.com in your GoGuardian dashboard it indicates your student attempted to access YouTube and was likely unsuccessful. It's worth a chat with them if you see it!
