Login to RingCentral on a browser
- In you browser navigate to https://login.ringcentral.com/
- Click Google under the Or sign in with banner
- Login using Riverdale account
Install and Login to the RingCentral application
On your laptop
- Navigate https://www.ringcentral.com/download.html and click the corresponding Download link
- If you have a Mac you may get another option to specify your Mac's chipset. Choose Mac with Apple chip
- Run the file that downloads and install RingCentral and use the same login method detailed above
On your mobile device
- Open the iOS App Store or Google Play Store and search for “RingCentral”
- Install RingCentral. Please ignore any and all other RingCentral apps at this time
- Open the RingCentral app and login with your Riverdale account in the same method outlined above
Voicemail
Set Voicemail PIN
- After logging in whether on browser, desktop app or mobile app go to Settings > Phone > Voicemail settings > Voicemail PIN
- Set a 6-10 digit PIN to access your voicemail.
Setup Voicemail Greeting
Via Browser, desktop or mobile app
- After logging in whether on browser, desktop app or mobile app go to Settings > Phone > Voicemail settings > Voicemail greeting
- You will see the audio file greyed out and have a small red record button to the right. Click the small red record button and you will be given the choice to record:
- Using your Computer Microphone
- Have RingCentral call your phone to record
- Import an .mp3 or .wav file.
- For the easiest recording option, select Computer Microphone, press the small red record button again and start your greeting, press again to stop.
- If you are satisfied press Save in the lower right corner.
Via desk phone
Press the voicemail button on the device or dial *86 to access your voicemail box.
- Using your phone's dial pad, enter the extension's PIN, then press # (pound key).
- Press 2 for Account Administration.
- Press 2 to record your voicemail greeting.
- Record your greeting after the beep. Press the # (pound key) after you finish recording.
- Press 1 to save your greeting. You will then have the option to:
- Press 2 to listen to the greeting you have recorded
- Press 3 to re-record the greeting
- Press 4 to revert to the system's default greeting
Accessing Voicemail
- In browser voicemails are displayed on the main page after logging in
- On mobile and desktop apps go to the Phone Tab and then Voicemail subhead to see all available messages
- On your desk phone press the voicemail button or dial *86 and then input your PIN when prompted.
