Phonak Roger SoundField systems have been in use in every classroom at the Lower School for the past few years, and over the summer of 2019, systems were installed in all classrooms in Hackett Hall, the Mayo Lab, and in room 5101 in the Science Annex.

This information page is a work in progress, so check back frequently for more information.

Any instructional video about how to use the Roger Touchscreen Mic can be found here: Roger Touchscreen Mic video

Note: The video above has information after the 3-minute mark which does not apply to our use at Riverdale.

Key things to remember:

Mute the Roger Touchscreen Mic whenever you are: • talking individually with a student in your classroom • outside of the classroom, either to visit another classroom, office, or when you visit the restroom.

At the end of the school day, please make sure to power down the Roger Touchscreen Mic and plug it into the charging cable to charge overnight.

The Roger Touchscreen Mics will be neatly attached to a hook next to the Phonak speaker for easy access.
