Why Use Class Meeting Links
You will be contacted by your Dean/Nurses if you should join the virtual meeting link for your class.
Find Class Meeting Links
In Google Calendar, teachers and students have access to the virtual meeting links for their classes. These links come directly from the Veracross class pages, so if you are a teacher, make sure your link is correctly showing.
- Read this article here if you need help configuring this: Add Recurring Meeting Links to Veracross
Once the link is added on Veracross, it will be updated in Google Calendar overnight. Be aware of this if you are making any changes on the day of!
For Teachers
If you have not yet created a recurring meeting for your classes and added it to your Veracross page, follow these instructions here: Add Recurring Meeting Links to Veracross
Start Meeting from Google Calendar
- Open Google Calendar
- Click on the calendar appointment for your class that day
- Under the Descriptions area, click on the link next to Virtual meeting link
Start Meeting from Employee Portal
- Click on the Virtual Meeting link in the daily calendar
For Students
Join Meeting from Google Calendar
- Open Google Calendar
- Click on the calendar appointment for your class day
- Under the Descriptions area, click on the link next to Virtual meeting link
