What is Padlet?
Padlet is a collaborative online platform for creating boards with different media, content, images, or text. It is a wonderful classroom tool to track discussions or offer students different ways to participate in lessons.
Note: Riverdale has limited licenses for Padlet, and we need to assign accounts individually. If you need access to Padlet and do not have your account activated already, please reach out to a member of the Tech Team by submitting a support ticket.

Access to Riverdale Padlet Account
Riverdale has limited named-user licenses to Padlet. To access your licensed Riverdale Padlet account:
- Go to https://riverdale.padlet.org
- Log in with Google using your Riverdale email and passphrase

Once you are logged in, click on + Make on the top of the screen. You will then have an option to create several types of projects.
- Blank Board
- Blank Sandbox
- Recipes (templates)
The templates are meant to help facilitate different types of online discussions and posts. See some of the common options below in the screenshot. Once you choose a format, you are able to change its format and layout:
- Wall
- Stream
- Timeline
- Grid
- Canvas
- Map

Migrate Padlet projects into your Riverdale Padlet
