✅ Recommended Generative AI Tools

There are a lot of different Generative AI tools and platforms to consider. The list below highlights several recommended platforms for use at Riverdale. Remember, many of these policies have age restrictions, so if you want to use one of these tools in your classes, refer to the table below for information related to age restrictions, privacy policies, and general access links. ❌ Tools We Don't Recommend

Please refrain from using the following generative A.I. tools due to privacy and/or security concerns. The list below is a non-exhaustive list. If you have questions about whether a tool is safe to use or not, submit a tech ticket by emailing support-ticket@riverdale.edu.

🔎 General rule of thumb: if a tool is free, it tends to be free for a reason. Many companies share personal data with 3rd party providers. Keep your data safe! And when in doubt, ask someone from the Tech Team.

DO NOT:

Share personal information with Generative A.I. systems
Share personally identifiable student information (P.I.I.)
Share personal health related information with Generative A.I. systems
Share phone numbers, social security numbers, credit card numbers, document numbers, etc.
