NoodleTools is a citation management software for research projects and papers. As a school, we provide a license to all faculty and students at the Hill Campus. With NoodleTools, you can easily organize your research projects and papers and do things such as:

  • Create citations in a variety of standard formats (MLA, APA, etc.)
  • Organize citations within a project
  • Create and organize notecards linked to sources in your project
  • Collaborate on the same project with classmates or peers
  • Share your project with your teacher(s)

More in-depth explanations of these features and be found on the NoodleTools tutorial page linked here.

Manage Citations

NoodleTools organizes your citations within Projects that you create. You can add, edit, delete citations and also create notecards, the possibilities are endless! Use the links below to learn how you can create projects and organize citations effectively.

Collect Student Projects

NoodleTools allows teachers to collect student projects through a mechanism called the Assignment Inbox. For each assignment in your course, create a separate Assignment Inbox with a descriptive name (ex. History 10 Research Project 22-23). Follow these tutorials to get started with Assignment Inbox and collect/view student work during their research process!

  1. Create an assignment inbox
  2. Explain to students how to share their project with their teacher
  3. Remind students that they can collaborate with peers on projects if needed
