New for the School Year 2020-2021 is an AV setup which allows you to connect your USBC laptop to a cable which provides an audio/video & interactivity link to the Epson projector, an audio-IN connection from the Blue Snowball microphone, and charging power.
Epson Interactive projector classrooms
Each classroom has a 6' silver USB-C extension cable attached to an Anker USB-C hub device, which is mounted on a wall or other immovable object located adjacent to the old-school cable bundle wall-plate which connects to the projector.
In these classrooms, a power charger is connected to the USB-C Input port with an HDMI cable to the projector on one side.
On the other side, the Blue Snowball is connected to one USB 3.0 port, while the second USB 3.0 port is used for the interactive connection to the projector.
Please do not unplug these cables.
This leaves two SD/MicroSD card slots available on one side, as well as a USB-C data port.
The silver USB-C extension cable is connected to the small 'pig-tail' cable directly affixed to the Anker hub. Please do not disconnect this silver USB-C cable. In many cases, it has been affixed with tape to prevent removal.
