Use AV in the JRJSC Conference Room (The Egg): Difference between revisions

When the video wall system is powered down, the screen should be dark. Touch the pad and a welcome screen with the RCS logo will be present. Touch the pad again and you should be presented with a row of persistent icons on the top: '''Settings''' (which is locked with a password; '''Apple TV Control''', which mimics a Apple TV remote; the time; and a '''power button icon''' which will let you choose to continue the power off sequence or cancel the power off sequence. If no action is taken from this screen, the system will power down after 30 seconds to a minute.  

Below that is a persistent set of icons which represent available input sources: '''Apple TV''',  '''Wall Plate''', '''Floor Box''' (unused), and '''Media Player 1''' and '''Media Player 2'''. Underneath these input sources is a graphical representation of the current setup of the video wall, which can be used in one of four configurations: '''SIDE x SIDE,'''  '''FULL''', '''PRESENTATION 1''' and '''PRESENTATION 2'''. Two configurations, '''SIDE x SIDE''' and '''PRESENTATION 2''' can display video simultaneously from two different sources.  

The two '''Media Player''' sources are not under user control, and are maintained by the school's Communications Department to show videos and slideshows.
