What is Sora?

Sora is an online e-book and magazine collection that Riverdale subscribes to from Overdrive. Riverdale subscribes to both an annual on-campus subscription and also partners with the Hudson Valley Library association for a bigger collection of periodicals (magazines and more).

Access Sora

To access the Riverdale Sora collections, follow the directions below:

1. Go to my.riverdale.edu and sign in with your Riverdale email address and passphrase
   • Click on the blue Sora icon
2. Alternatively go to soraapp.com
3. Under Continue Using click on Riverdale Country School if you are on campus
4. If you don't see Riverdale Country School, click on Not your school? Switch schools
5. Click No, I'll search for my school and enter Riverdale Country School
6. Click Sign-in using Riverdale Country School and use your Riverdale email address and passphrase

Access Hudson Valley Library Resources

To access additional Hudson Valley Library Resources on Sora, follow the directions below:

1. Log in to Sora according to the directions listed above
2. Click on the stacked lines icon on the top right of the screen
3. Click + Add library
4. Enter Hudson Valley Library Association and click the matching library
5. Enter and search for Riverdale Country School
6. Click the matching search result
7. Click Sign in using Riverdale Country School
8. Log in with your Riverdale email address and passphrase

Now under Explore (on the top left of the screen), you can switch between the two different library collections.
