You may report an absence or dismissal/transportation request by navigating to the Riverdale Parent Portal at https://portals.veracross.com/riverdale
After login, please choose "View or Submit Attendance or Dismissal Change Request" - all requests documented below start in this area of the Parent Portal.
Report an Absence, Late Arrival, or Early Dismissal
From the Dismissal Change Request screen (see above), choose the child whose absence you are reporting, then choose the date of the absence. If it will be a multi-day absence, use the first date field to indicate the first day of the anticipated absence.
For a Single Day Absence, Late Arrival, or Early Dismissal
Choose "Attendance"
Then, choose the appropriate code
For a Multi-Day Absence
Choose "Multi-Day Absence"
Enter the final date of the Multi-Day absence
Report a Lower School Dismissal Change Request
For a change in your Lower School Dismissal plans (this does not apply to MS/US students), Please choose the "Transportation From School" Option on the Logistics Request form:
